- Sales Cycle Management: Own the complete sales process from initial discovery through contract negotiation and close. Conduct needs assessments, deliver product demonstrations, and present customized proposals aligned with institutional objectives.
- Consultative Selling: Leverage data-driven insights to understand client pain points and recommend solutions that address institutional challenges. Position EMSI's platform as a strategic partner in workforce development and academic planning.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at higher education institutions, including provosts, deans, workforce development directors, and institutional research teams.
- Deal Closure: Negotiate contract terms, manage objections, and drive deals to successful close. Track all opportunities in CRM with accuracy and timeliness.
- Account Intelligence: Stay informed about institutional priorities, market trends in higher education, and competitor positioning. Use competitive and market intelligence to inform sales strategy.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual quota targets. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including activity metrics, pipeline value, conversion rates, and average deal size.

You possess strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior-level executives. Your consultative approach to selling, combined with analytical thinking, enables you to understand complex institutional needs and craft compelling solutions.
Key attributes of successful candidates:
- 2–5+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, preferably in higher education, EdTech, or workforce development sectors
- Proven ability to manage full sales cycles and close enterprise-level deals
- Strong prospecting and pipeline development skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
