Terms of Service
Last updated: August 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By using JobsRemoteList, creating an account, starting a free trial, or purchasing a plan, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Job postings
Companies are responsible for the accuracy of their job listings. JobsRemoteList reserves the right to remove listings that are misleading, illegal, fraudulent, low quality, or otherwise violate our content policies. Listings may be edited, moderated, paused, or removed where reasonably necessary to protect users and the platform.
3. User accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and must not use the platform for any illegal, deceptive, or abusive purpose.
4. Payments and refunds
All payments are processed securely via approved payment providers such as Paddle or PayPal. Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, a refund may only be requested within seven (7) calendar days of the original payment.
To be eligible, the account must not have used the paid service or any paid feature. Use includes, without limitation, viewing or accessing premium content, posting or featuring a job, viewing candidate information, downloading or generating a document, sending an application or message, activating an alert, using credits, exporting data, or otherwise receiving the benefit of the purchased plan.
Every request is subject to review by our risk and payments team. We may request the account email, payment reference, reason for the request, identity or payment-method verification, and other information reasonably necessary to investigate the request. Failure to provide requested information may result in rejection.
Subject to applicable law, we may reject a refund where the eligibility requirements are not met, the service has been used, the request contains inaccurate or inconsistent information, or we reasonably identify fraud, abuse, manipulation, duplicate claims, payment disputes, or an attempt to obtain the service without paying. Approval of a refund in one case does not require us to approve another case.
Plans that include a free trial are not eligible for a voluntary refund after the trial ends and the first payment is processed. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Starting a free trial constitutes acceptance of this refund policy and these Terms of Service.
Nothing in this section excludes or restricts any refund, withdrawal, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction.
5. Trials, promotions, and credits
Unless we state otherwise, each person, household, organisation, payment method, and related group of accounts may use a free trial or introductory promotion only once. Trials, discounts, credits, coupons, and promotional benefits have no cash value, may not be transferred or resold, and may not be combined without our written permission.
You must not obtain additional trials or promotions by creating multiple accounts, using aliases or temporary email addresses, changing payment methods, concealing identity or location, impersonating another person, coordinating related accounts, or using any other method intended to bypass eligibility controls. We may cancel promotional access and charge or recover the value improperly obtained, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Fraud prevention and prohibited conduct
You must not use JobsRemoteList to commit or facilitate fraud, deception, identity theft, payment abuse, phishing, scraping, credential sharing, unauthorised automation, data harvesting, security testing without written permission, circumvention of access controls, or any unlawful activity.
You must not submit stolen or unauthorised payment credentials; falsely claim that an authorised payment was unauthorised; request a refund after consuming the service; initiate duplicate disputes through us and a payment provider; fabricate evidence; manipulate tracking or account data; exploit errors; or assist another person in doing so.
We may use account, device, access, transaction, communication, and service-usage records to prevent abuse, investigate claims, enforce these terms, and respond to payment-provider disputes, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. We may share relevant evidence with payment processors, financial institutions, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, and professional advisers where legally permitted or required.
7. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe an account presents a security, fraud, payment, legal, or platform-integrity risk; has breached these terms; or may harm JobsRemoteList, our users, or third parties. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond.
Suspension or termination for breach does not create a right to a refund. Amounts already due remain payable, and provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, intellectual-property, liability, dispute, and fraud-prevention provisions—will continue to apply.
8. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you do not recognise a charge or believe that we made a billing error, contact us promptly so that we can investigate. This does not limit your right to contact your bank or payment provider.
Knowingly filing a false, misleading, duplicate, or abusive chargeback is a breach of these terms. Subject to applicable law, we may suspend the related accounts, provide relevant records to the payment provider, recover unpaid amounts and reasonable costs caused by the abusive dispute, and decline future transactions.
9. Service availability and outcomes
JobsRemoteList is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a minimum number of views or applications, employment, a successful hire, candidate quality, employer responses, search-engine placement, or any particular commercial or career outcome. We may modify features where reasonably necessary to maintain, secure, or improve the service.
10. Candidate premium support and fair use
Some candidate plans may include human support benefits such as CV reviews, profile feedback, or career conversations with an HR professional or similar adviser. Unless we explicitly state otherwise at checkout or on the plan page, these benefits are provided on a fair-use basis and are limited to the frequency stated for the plan.
For annual and lifetime candidate plans that include quarterly support, the limit is up to one (1) CV review and up to one (1) HR conversation per calendar quarter. Unused sessions expire at the end of the applicable quarter, do not roll over, and are not redeemable for cash, credit, discounts, or alternative services.
Support sessions are subject to scheduling availability, reasonable participation rules, identity and account verification where needed, and compliance with our platform policies. We may reschedule, refuse, shorten, or discontinue support where we reasonably believe there is abuse, harassment, excessive demand, reselling, account sharing, fraudulent use, or conduct that makes delivery unsafe or impracticable.
Human guidance is informational only and does not guarantee interviews, offers, higher pay, immigration outcomes, visa eligibility, or any employment result. We may update the format, delivery method, or personnel used to provide these support benefits, provided the core plan benefit remains materially similar.
11. Affiliate programme
Affiliate commissions are paid for verified referrals only. We reserve the right to withhold commissions for fraudulent referrals. Commissions are paid via PayPal within 30 days of a valid payout request.
12. Intellectual property
All content on JobsRemoteList, including the platform design, is owned by JobsRemoteList. Job descriptions remain the property of the posting company.
13. Limitation of liability
JobsRemoteList is a platform connecting employers and candidates. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, the outcome of any hiring process, application, interview, background check, offer, or employment relationship.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobsRemoteList will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or reputational harm arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Enforcement and severability
Our failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver of that provision. If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country prevail over any conflicting provision in these terms.
