What You'll Do

As an AI Trainer, you'll apply your deep linguistic knowledge to evaluate, annotate, and refine AI model outputs across three languages. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Review AI-generated text for grammatical accuracy, idiomatic expression, and cultural appropriateness
• Annotate and correct linguistic errors across Afrikaans, English, and your third language
• Assess multilingual translations for clarity, fidelity, and natural flow
• Evaluate cross-lingual reasoning and translation quality
• Collaborate with the evaluation team to strengthen language-specific guidelines and protocols
• Provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in Afrikaans and English – native or near-native proficiency required
• Proficiency in at least one additional language – demonstrated expertise essential
• Strong command of grammar, syntax, and linguistic nuances across all three languages
• Clear communication skills with ability to articulate complex linguistic concepts
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity across linguistic communities

Preferred Experience

• Background in translation, linguistics, or language instruction
• Prior experience in content evaluation or quality assurance
• Familiarity with AI training, machine learning, or NLP projects
