About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Operations to build the operational foundation that enables Artie to scale effectively. This is a founding operations role—not an inheritor position. You'll have the opportunity to construct the operations function from the ground up, working directly with company founders and owning autonomous decision-making authority.

You'll surface strategic decisions with options, rationale, and recommendations already prepared. Most importantly, you'll design and implement systems that continue functioning effectively when you're not present, creating sustainable operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Own Operations as a Whole

  • Act as connective tissue across teams, ensuring strategy flows seamlessly to execution with rapid iteration—maintaining a bias toward velocity and excellence
  • Define and drive high-impact strategic initiatives across go-to-market operations that directly influence company scaling
  • Assess current operational state upon entry and proactively identify gaps and improvement opportunities

Build Scalable Systems

  • Design processes and workflows that scale alongside company growth without requiring your constant oversight
  • Implement monitoring and diagnostic systems that alert you to problems before they impact teams
  • Create clean ownership handoffs—success is measured by operational continuity in your absence

Own Go-to-Market Operations

  • Develop deep understanding of revenue motion so sales and marketing teams operate with full clarity
  • Support and enhance revenue operations including pipeline hygiene, forecasting accuracy, CRM discipline, and outbound infrastructure
  • Collaborate with account executives and founders to identify deal bottlenecks and implement systems that accelerate closing

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–7+ years of operations experience, ideally at Series A–C stage companies where you've navigated the chaotic scaling phase
  • Proven track record building operations functions from early stages through organizational growth
  • Experience owning GTM operations, revenue operations, or business operations at high-growth technology companies
  • Demonstrated ability to design repeatable processes that scale without constant intervention
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with ability to influence without authority
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to move quickly while maintaining rigor
  • Experience with SaaS metrics, sales operations, and revenue forecasting
  • Passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement

Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Background in B2B SaaS, data infrastructure, or developer tools; experience with operations software and analytics platforms; familiarity with hypergrowth companies backed by top-tier venture capital.
