About This Role
Avery Dennison is seeking an experienced Business Process & Master Data Owner (BPO) to join our global team in a fully remote position. This strategic role combines process optimization with master data governance, making you a critical bridge between business operations and data management systems.
As the BPO, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of key business processes and ensure the integrity, consistency, and accessibility of master data across the organization. This position requires a blend of analytical thinking, process improvement expertise, and data stewardship capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, document, and maintain business process standards and procedures across departments
- Oversee master data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with data quality standards
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, supply chain, and operations
- Design and implement master data management (MDM) solutions and tools
- Monitor process performance metrics and KPIs, reporting insights to senior leadership
- Manage process change requests and ensure proper documentation and training
- Lead process automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and improve accuracy
- Maintain process workflows in enterprise systems and ensure data consistency
- Support regulatory compliance and audit requirements related to processes and data
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business process management or master data management roles
- Proven expertise in process modeling tools (BPMN, Visio, or similar)
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in process management (IIBA, Six Sigma, or similar)
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise systems
- Knowledge of data quality tools and MDM platforms
- Background in supply chain or manufacturing operations
