Base is a platform for in-real-life social connection and community built for accomplished professionals. Members come to Base for regular, in-person time with peers they genuinely want to know. As a Social Media & Content Coordinator, you'll shape how Base looks and sounds online—crafting the digital experience that brings members through the door.

The Role

You'll run Base's social presence and ad creative operations, transforming raw footage into finished, on-brand video content. This position rewards taste, consistency, and a deep understanding of platform dynamics. You'll balance high-volume ad creative production with real-time event coverage and community management across multiple channels. The role is ideal for a self-directed creator who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cut Ad Creative: Produce mobile-first video ads using CapCut with a polished luxury aesthetic. Export platform-ready content for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube with correct aspect ratios and specifications. Manage high volume with fast turnaround times while maintaining premium quality standards.

  • Capture Live Content: Attend Base events in your city to shoot photography and video that authentically represents the Base community experience. Deliver raw footage ready for post-production with editorial eye for composition and storytelling.

  • Manage Social Channels: Own posting strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Schedule content, write on-brand captions, engage with comments and direct messages, and maintain community voice and tone consistently.

  • Build Content Calendar: Create, organize, and maintain the editorial calendar across all platforms. Ensure timely publication, strategic spacing, and alignment with brand campaigns and seasonal opportunities.

  • Support Creative Operations: Source royalty-free music and manage copyright compliance. Create light graphics using Canva. Pull basic social analytics and build simple reporting cadences. Monitor and identify trending opportunities aligned with luxury brand positioning.

Who You Are

  • Short-Form Video Expert: You have strong instincts for platform-native content and are fluent in CapCut. Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci is a plus. Your portfolio includes a compelling reel of social-first creative work.

  • Luxury Brand Sensibility: You've worked with premium or luxury brands and understand what reads as polished to discerning audiences. You recognize the nuances of luxury positioning across different platforms and demographics.

  • AI-Native Creator: You seamlessly integrate AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude into your creative workflow. You stay informed about AI content trends and strategically apply emerging tools to enhance creative output.

  • Algorithm Fluent: You understand what drives engagement in short-form content and can adapt trending formats for luxury audiences without compromising brand positioning.

  • Platform Strategist: You're hands-on with content scheduling tools, platform-specific best practices, and content calendar management across major social networks.

  • Self-Directed Professional: You communicate clearly, juggle multiple deliverables simultaneously, and consistently hit deadlines with minimal supervision. You take ownership of project outcomes.
