About The Role
As a Client Retention Specialist, you'll serve as a primary point of contact for valued customers enrolled in Beyond Finance's financial hardship programs. This is a critical position within the Customer Success Team, where your primary responsibility will be to educate and assist clients facing financial hardship while exploring debt-free options. You'll interact with clients primarily through inbound phone calls, providing support, empathy, and expert guidance as they navigate their financial recovery journey.
Your focus will be on at-risk customers who are struggling with program usage or understanding its value. You'll leverage creative problem-solving to help clients realize the full benefits of their enrollment and remain committed to their debt-free goals. This role requires strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate Clients: Provide comprehensive information about Beyond Finance's financial hardship debt program, ensuring clients have a clear understanding of benefits, processes, and available options tailored to their unique situations.
- Empathize and Deescalate: Display empathy and active listening skills to understand and deescalate upset clients, addressing their concerns and alleviating stress regarding their financial situations with professionalism and compassion.
- Manage CRM Systems: Effectively navigate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms to quickly access and comprehend client information, including current financial status and program progress. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions and milestones.
- Analyze Financial Situations: Assess each client's current financial circumstances and determine the most appropriate options to help them achieve their goal of becoming debt-free within realistic timeframes.
- Retain Clients: Collaborate with clients to develop customized solutions aligned with their financial goals, encouraging continued participation in the Beyond Finance program and celebrating their progress milestones.
- Problem-Solving: Identify barriers to client success and develop creative, practical solutions that demonstrate the value and effectiveness of the Beyond Finance program.
- Documentation: Ensure comprehensive record-keeping of all client interactions, solutions offered, and outcomes achieved, supporting both compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
