About This Role

We are seeking a full-time Bioanalytical Fee & Proposal Support professional to join our growing Bioanalytical Services team.
In this position, you will be a critical link between Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Contracts teams. You'll support the complete lifecycle of bioanalytical studies—from initial proposal development and pricing through financial close-out. This role ensures that all proposals are accurate, competitive, and compliant while maintaining strong financial alignment throughout each project's lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal & Pricing Support
- Support study scoping and development of bioanalytical budgets and detailed fee estimates
- Prepare comprehensive pricing materials including proposals, RFQs, bid grids, cost assumptions, and project timelines
- Assist with quotation and contract preparation, project number creation, and document tracking systems
- Evaluate scope changes and their financial impacts when supporting change orders
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across all pricing models, templates, and underlying assumptions
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop competitive and defensible pricing strategies
Financial & Project Support
- Provide ongoing financial support for awarded bioanalytical projects, ensuring tight alignment between project scope, approved budget, and actual performance
- Maintain accurate and timely project data across both local and global financial systems
- Assist with weekly forecasting, variance analysis, and work-in-progress (WIP) monitoring
- Support invoice preparation and accurate allocation of pass-through costs to appropriate cost centers
- Partner with Finance and Contracts teams to ensure complete alignment between budgets, fees, and contractual terms
- Assist with financial inquiries, budget adjustments, and comprehensive project close-out activities
Systems & Process Improvement
- Support the development and continuous optimization of Smartsheet tools and pricing templates
- Identify and implement opportunities to utilize AI and automation to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in proposal development, pricing, and financial processes
- Assist with ordering and managing study-specific materials and supplies for the Bioanalytical department
About You
You are a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and organizational skills. You excel at working across multiple departments and stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and maintaining accuracy in complex financial and proposal documentation. You have experience with financial systems, proposal development, or project support, and you're comfortable learning new tools and technologies. Your ability to identify process improvements and implement automation makes you a valuable contributor to operational excellence.
