UI/UX Designer – Contract (Remote)

About This Role

We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team at Brainbox Automations on a contract basis. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with innovative automation solutions while designing intuitive user experiences.

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-centered digital interfaces that enhance customer engagement and drive product success. You'll collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to transform complex requirements into elegant, functional designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics
• Document design specifications and handoff materials for development teams
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices

What We're Looking For

You should have a strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design expertise, with proven experience in user research, wireframing, and prototyping. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch is essential. A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards is required.

We value designers who can think strategically about user problems, communicate design decisions clearly, and work efficiently in fast-paced environments. Experience with design systems, responsive design, and knowledge of front-end development fundamentals are highly advantageous.
