Engineering Manager

About the Role

Calendly is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead high-impact product development for our Scheduling platform. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines people management with strong technical execution and product mindset. You'll report directly to our Senior Director of Engineering and partner closely with product, design, data, security, and go-to-market teams to define and deliver the roadmap for new Scheduling products.

• Coaching Mindset: An ability to grow engineers through clear expectations, actionable feedback, and regular performance and career development conversations
• Technical Depth: Strong technical judgment in distributed, service-oriented architectures and API design, with the ability to navigate complex trade-offs and guide engineers through sophisticated technical decisions
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and partnering effectively with Product, Design, Security, Customer Experience, and Go-to-Market teams to align on priorities and measurable outcomes
• Execution Excellence: A bias for action, data-driven decision making, and continuously improving how your team executes, ships, and operates its services
• Balanced Leadership: The ability to balance hands-on technical execution with team development, hiring, and effective stakeholder management across the organization

• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business priorities
