Key Responsibilities

• Candidate Sourcing & Research: Utilize advanced search techniques, Boolean strings, and recruitment databases to identify passive and active candidates who match specific job requirements
• Candidate Engagement: Reach out to prospective candidates via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other professional networks to present opportunities and build talent pipelines
• Qualification Screening: Conduct preliminary assessments of candidate qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit for assigned positions
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful placements
• French Language Support: Leverage your French fluency to source candidates in French-speaking markets, conduct interviews, and communicate with international clients and candidates
• Database Management: Maintain accurate candidate records, track sourcing activities, and update recruitment databases with detailed candidate information
• Pipeline Development: Build and nurture candidate pipelines for current and future job openings to reduce time-to-hire
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive talent landscapes, and salary benchmarks to inform sourcing strategies
• Collaboration: Work closely with recruiting teams, hiring managers, and other departments to understand hiring needs and refine sourcing approaches
• Reporting: Track and report on sourcing metrics including candidate quality, time-to-fill, and pipeline effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• French Language Fluency: Native or near-native proficiency in French (both written and spoken) is essential for this role
• Sourcing Experience: Proven experience (1+ years) in talent sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition
• Research Skills: Strong ability to conduct online research and use recruitment tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Boolean search strategies
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both English and French
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in candidate screening, qualification assessment, and record-keeping
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously and meet sourcing targets and deadlines
• Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with recruitment platforms, ATS systems, and standard office software (MS Office, Google Workspace)
• Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
• Cultural Awareness: Understanding and respect for diverse backgrounds and international recruitment best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sourcing candidates in European markets, particularly French-speaking regions (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada)
• Familiarity with additional languages beyond French and English
• Background in specialized recruitment (tech, healthcare, finance, etc.)
• Experience with recruitment marketing and passive candidate engagement strategies
• Knowledge of GDPR and international data privacy regulations
