The Role

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with solid experience in Java development to join our engineering team. You'll be instrumental in building and maintaining the backend services that support Clara's financial products, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure systems that serve thousands of businesses across Latin America.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture
• Build scalable, secure systems that handle high-volume financial transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to code quality, system performance optimization, and architectural improvements
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with team members
• Ensure best practices in security, testing, and documentation
