Position Summary

Beyond traditional grant-writing responsibilities, CFS seeks a candidate who can proactively collaborate with clients to refine projects and business strategies, increasing funding likelihood and overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior staff, funding directors, grant writing colleagues, and administrative teams to develop high-quality proposals through all stages: project design, document preparation, and submission
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
- Synthesize complex information from diverse sources to generate compelling proposals, budgets, and supporting documents aligned with funding opportunity requirements and client specifications
- Conduct research on funding opportunities and grant requirements to identify strategic matches for clients
- Collaborate with clients on project refinement and business strategy optimization to enhance funding competitiveness
- Maintain detailed records and documentation throughout the grant development lifecycle
- Contribute to continuous improvement of CFS processes and methodologies
Required Qualifications
- Proven grant writing experience with demonstrated success in securing funding
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Understanding of climate, sustainability, or environmental funding landscapes preferred
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
