The Role
As a Member of Technical Staff on our Applied ML team, you will work directly with enterprise customers to understand their most critical challenges and design and implement AI-powered solutions using cutting-edge large language models. You'll bridge the last-mile gap in Enterprise AI adoption, delivering products with the speed and vision of a startup CTO while impacting some of the world's most important industries and institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute large-scale projects from ideation through production deployment
- Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and other disciplines
- Mentor a distributed team of engineers, building deep subject matter expertise
- Identify opportunities and gaps in existing models, strategizing prioritization and execution
- Collaborate closely with product teams to develop and refine solutions
- Partner with organizations and collaborate on strategic initiatives
- Support legal and IP teams with patent preparation for developed intellectual property
- Wear multiple hats in a fast-moving, pivotal moment for AI innovation
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading ML teams in applied research and production environments
- Track record of setting and executing technical direction for new or refined products
- Experience working cross-functionally in matrixed organizations
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks including TensorFlow, TF-Serving, JAX, and XLA/MLIR
- Deep experience with large-scale distributed training and inference systems
- Exceptional mentorship, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment
