The Role: AI Cloud Engineer
As a Cloud Engineer at Cresteo, you'll be more than just a developer—you'll be part of transforming the tech industry through our honest, transparent, and people-centric approach. This is a diverse and dynamic position where you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining software solutions across a varied technology stack.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
- Building and managing observability systems spanning logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerting workflows
- Implementing cloud cost management and financial operations (FinOps) practices to optimize licensing and resource utilization
- Developing infrastructure as code solutions using modern tools and frameworks
- Supporting production AI workloads and ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability
- Creating executive-facing dashboards and communicating operational insights to leadership teams
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products are functional, efficient, reliable, and scalable
What We're Looking For
We seek experienced cloud professionals with a passion for infrastructure excellence and AI operations. Your background should include:
- Cloud Platform Expertise: Solid production experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP environments, including networking, IAM, security, and observability
- Observability & Monitoring: Hands-on experience designing and implementing observability systems with tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Stackdriver
- Identity & Access Management: Strong understanding of IAM principles and preferably experience with Microsoft Entra ID
- Cloud Security: Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, CASB solutions, and understanding of shadow-IT tooling
- Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or equivalent frameworks
- Cost Management: Experience implementing cloud cost management and FinOps strategies for financial optimization
- Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, or equivalent compliance standards
- AI Workload Support: Experience supporting production AI workloads and optimizing their performance
- Executive Communication: Ability to build clear dashboards and communicate technical insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders
