About Cresteo
Cresteo is on a mission to become the world leader in people-first and honest nearshore tech services. We prioritize a human-centered approach in an industry that often feels distant and impersonal. Our services are led by experienced, incredibly talented professionals who are transforming the system from within while collaborating with top global clients.
Our foundation is built on deep expertise, candid transparency, profit-sharing, and fearless innovation. Our team stands out for their deep-rooted passion for corporate change, treating software development as both a human sport and art form. When it comes to recruitment, we won't box you into rigid questionnaires—we genuinely want to get to know you as a person.
Why You Belong Here
As an AI Platform Architect at Cresteo, you'll be more than just a team member; you will be instrumental in transforming the tech industry through our honest, transparent, and people-centric approach. Your role will be diverse and dynamic, focusing on developing and maintaining sophisticated software solutions across a varied technology stack.
You'll ensure that our AI-powered products are functional, efficient, reliable, and scalable. By joining us, you're not just choosing a job—you're aligning with a vision that values the human side of tech, where your skills and passion are recognized, nurtured, and celebrated.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture of a RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) based AI platform
- Design and build production-grade AI systems using large language models (LLMs)
- Implement comprehensive AI safety measures including prompt injection protection, hallucination control, and system-level governance
- Lead technical architecture decisions and drive engineering best practices across teams
- Design validation layers, response verification systems, and controlled output mechanisms
- Architect systems requiring high accuracy, traceability, and deterministic behaviors
- Collaborate with CTOs, founders, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Work with regulated or high-risk environments, ensuring compliance and security
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience designing and building production-grade RAG or LLM-based systems with measurable results
- Strong software engineering background (must-have) with hands-on coding experience in production environments
- End-to-end AI system architecture experience—not just modeling or experimentation, but full-stack production deployment
- Deep understanding of AI safety and governance including AI guardrails, prompt injection protection, hallucination control, and system-level governance frameworks
- Microsoft ecosystem expertise including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure ML, and .NET development
- Distributed systems knowledge with strong understanding of APIs, cloud-based architectures, and scalable design patterns
- Implementation experience with validation layers, response verification, and controlled output mechanisms
- System design expertise for applications requiring high accuracy, traceability, and deterministic behaviors
- Technical leadership experience leading engineering teams and driving architecture decisions
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with C-level executives and engineering teams
- Comfort working in regulated environments with high compliance and risk management requirements
Why This Role Matters
This is a pivotal role in building the next generation of enterprise AI platforms. You'll have the opportunity to shape how organizations safely and effectively deploy large language models in production environments. Your architectural decisions will directly impact product reliability, security, and user trust.
The platform you build will serve regulated industries where accuracy and governance are non-negotiable. You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and production-grade software engineering—a rare opportunity for architects who want to make a tangible impact.
