Data Analyst (Polish) - Remote

About the Role

Lightcast (Economic Modeling Specialists, Inc.) is seeking detail-oriented, data-driven professionals with strong Polish language skills to support the expansion of our global product features. In this full-time independent contractor position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring we deliver accurate, high-quality data to our customers worldwide by analyzing multilingual outputs, improving classification performance, and supporting taxonomy translation and parser development.

Position Details

This is a full-time independent contractor position offering up to 6 months of work at 40 hours per week. The role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Please note: this is a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) position, meaning you will use your own laptop for work.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze multilingual data outputs with a focus on Polish language content to identify quality issues and inconsistencies
• Support the improvement of classification performance across our product taxonomy systems
• Contribute to taxonomy translation initiatives, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate terminology
• Assist in parser development by testing, validating, and providing feedback on language-specific parsing algorithms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data accuracy and product quality for international markets
• Document findings and provide detailed reports on data quality metrics and improvement recommendations
• Support the localization and expansion of our global product features for Polish-speaking markets

Required Qualifications

• Native or fluent Polish language proficiency (essential requirement)
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills with proven ability to identify data quality issues
• Experience working with multilingual data or international datasets
• Ability to work independently as a contractor while meeting project deadlines
• Comfortable with data analysis tools and methodologies
• Reliable internet connection and suitable work environment for remote contractor role
• Your own laptop that meets basic computing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in data analysis, quality assurance, or linguistics
• Familiarity with taxonomy systems or classification frameworks
• Experience with multilingual product development or localization
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or parser development concepts
• Background in fields such as economics, labor market analysis, or data science
