About The Role

You will be the strategic partner to the Founders, answering the billion-dollar question: How do we scale efficiently? You will be the detective solving the complex puzzle of a two-sided marketplace. One day, you might be modeling price elasticity to determine how a 5% discount impacts contribution margin. The next, you'll be digging into referral data to engineer a viral loop that lowers CAC by half. You will hunt down the "why" behind every chart, discovering invisible friction points and hidden behaviors that unlock massive growth.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Acquisition

  • Pricing & Incentive Strategy: Design and test dynamic pricing models and incentive structures (first-order discounts, owner bonuses). Mathematically determine how to drive demand and conversion without eroding contribution profit margins, ensuring every dollar of discount generates long-term ROI.
  • The Growth Equation: Model acquisition channels (Organic, Paid, Referral, Ambassadors). Identify which channels have the highest LTV/CAC ratio and recommend where to double down investment.
  • Viral Loops: Analyze referral and sharing behaviors. Calculate K-factor (virality) and identify product changes to keep users as your best marketing channel.

Marketplace Liquidity & Retention

  • Supply-Led Growth: Analyze how inventory levels drive organic growth. Determine optimal owner acquisition targets and their impact on demand-side behavior and unit economics.
  • Retention Analytics: Build cohort analyses and churn models to understand which segments (renters and owners) generate lifetime value. Identify interventions that improve repeat rental rates.
  • Two-Sided Matching: Optimize the balance between supply and demand to minimize friction and maximize conversion rates across both marketplace sides.

Product & Experimentation

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to design, execute, and analyze A/B tests that validate hypotheses and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Build dashboards and automated reporting to track KPIs across acquisition, retention, and monetization.
  • Communicate insights clearly to leadership, translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations.

This is a high-impact role for someone who combines analytical rigor with business acumen—someone who can move fast, asks the right questions, and isn't satisfied until they've unlocked the answer.
