DevOps Engineer – Remote Opportunity at Software Mind

Software Mind is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in a fully remote role. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to robust infrastructure solutions across global projects.

As a DevOps Engineer at Software Mind, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and deployment pipelines. You'll collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD workflows, optimize system performance, and enhance operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive solutions
• Automate deployment processes to reduce manual work and improve consistency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements
• Ensure security best practices and compliance standards across all infrastructure
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
• Strong proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go)
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
