Project Director (H/F) - Devoteam

About the Role

Devoteam is seeking an experienced Project Director (Directeur de projet H/F) to lead and oversee complex project initiatives in a remote capacity. This leadership position offers the opportunity to drive strategic project delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure successful outcomes for high-impact engagements across a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale initiatives, from planning and scoping through successful delivery and closure
• Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and timeline adherence to ensure projects stay on track and within financial parameters
• Direct cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications at all organizational levels
• Develop comprehensive project plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns
• Monitor project performance using industry-standard metrics and reporting tools; provide regular updates to senior leadership
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party partnerships to support project success
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the development of project management capabilities within the organization
• Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution to maintain team productivity and morale

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large, complex projects with budgets of significant scale
• Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches)
• Demonstrated expertise in resource planning, budget forecasting, and financial management
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with experience supervising diverse teams
• Advanced stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Fluency in English and French (or other relevant languages depending on project scope)
• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly valued
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2-3 years in a director-level or senior leadership role
• Proficiency with project management software and tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital transformation or IT service delivery projects
• Background in consulting or professional services delivery
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, or enterprise systems integration
• Experience leading remote or distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Previous exposure to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or enterprise agile methodologies
