About DealMaker
DealMaker is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the capital markets ecosystem with a mission to make online capital raising mainstream. We empower founders, CEOs, and operators to raise capital digitally, both from their own communities and through strategically marketed campaigns. No other platform provides an end-to-end solution like ours—and our track record speaks for itself, with over $2B raised across 1,000+ campaigns. We power the largest online capital raises for customers like EnergyX ($88M), Green Bay Packers ($65M), Miso Robotics ($72M+), and Monogram Orthopaedics (Nasdaq:MGRM), with 3 IPOs in the past year alone. We are quickly expanding our horizons and seeking talented team members to join us on our journey to transform the global capital market.
Who You Are
You are a high-octane strategist who thrives in the space between "big ideas" and "big results." You are a natural leader who pushes your limits and inspires your team to do the same. You don't just manage workflows; you drive outcomes. You are bold and direct in your communication, ensuring that both your team and your clients have a clear, honest path to success. Most importantly, you obsess over customers, treating their capital-raising goals as your own.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the VP of Strategy, you will lead a focused, high-impact team of 4 within our Marketing Services division. Your mission is to oversee the architecture and execution of high-performing marketing funnels that turn prospects into investors. This is a "hands-on" leadership role where you will balance high-level strategy with direct mentorship and operational excellence.
The most critical part of your role is two-fold:
- Funnel Mastery: You will lead your team in building, testing, and scaling digital marketing funnels that drive measurable results. This includes designing conversion optimization strategies, implementing A/B testing frameworks, and analyzing funnel performance metrics to continuously improve investor acquisition and capital deployment.
- Trust Architecture: You will earn and maintain the trust of our sophisticated client base and internal stakeholders through radical transparency, consistent delivery, and proactive communication regarding campaign performance and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
- KPI Ownership: Directly oversee the team's performance against critical metrics including NPS (Net Promoter Score), total capital raised, and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). Take ownership of these metrics and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making.
- Team Development: Actively coach a team of 4, fostering a culture of accountability, rapid experimentation, and professional growth. Provide mentorship, set clear expectations, and create opportunities for skill development within your team.
- Strategic Innovation: Continuously innovate and simplify our processes to ensure we stay ahead of capital market trends. Identify emerging opportunities in the fintech and capital raising landscape and translate them into actionable strategies for the team.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with the President of Marketing Services and VP of Strategy to ensure client expectations align with operational reality. Serve as the bridge between client needs and team capabilities, managing expectations transparently.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee end-to-end campaign strategy and execution, from initial client discovery through post-campaign analysis. Ensure every campaign reflects our commitment to excellence and delivers measurable ROI for clients.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about capital markets trends, competitive landscape changes, and investor behavior patterns to inform strategic recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- 5-8+ years of experience in marketing leadership, client strategy, or business development, preferably in fintech, capital markets, or B2B SaaS environments
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
- Deep expertise in digital marketing funnels, conversion optimization, and performance metrics analysis
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with both internal teams and sophisticated external clients
- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and aligning competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and drive results with limited resources
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly
- Passion for the fintech space and understanding of capital markets dynamics
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools
