The Opportunity
This is an exciting time to join Remote as Director of Social, reporting to the Brand & Communications team. You will own and lead Remote's digital communications strategy, unifying organic social media, digital influencer outreach, and emerging channels aligned with company objectives and broader marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead Remote's digital communications strategy, integrating organic social media, digital influencer outreach, and emerging channels with company objectives
- Lead the digital communications team within Marketing, including managing direct reports and agency partners
- Develop and scale a global influencer advocacy program to expand brand reach and credibility
- Define clear digital channel performance metrics (KPIs) and establish comprehensive reporting to measure business impact
- Analyze performance data and recommend strategic priorities for investment and continuous channel optimization
- Demonstrate crisis management expertise and strong judgment in sensitive situations
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to align social initiatives with broader business goals
What You Bring
- Proven ability to lead and define integrated digital communications strategy for B2B technology and/or SaaS brands
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in social media metrics and reporting tools
- Demonstrated capacity for developing fresh, boundary-pushing digital narratives
- Strategic thinking with ability to align social initiatives to broader business goals
- Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Crisis management experience and strong judgment in sensitive situations
- Fluent English required; additional languages a plus
- Remote work experience preferred
