About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Erlang Developer with a minimum of 5 years of professional development experience to join our engineering team. You will work on distributed, high-load financial systems processing trades and transactions while calculating critical financial metrics using distributed Erlang services. This is a key position reporting to the Erlang Development Lead, where you'll contribute to systems that power our global trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features from concept through production deployment
• Maintain current functionality while managing growing data volumes and request loads
• Participate in architecture development and contribute to technical documentation
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and share knowledge across the organization
• Work with distributed high-load financial systems processing trades and transactions
• Manage large datasets in PostgreSQL with performance optimization focus
• Integrate with external services via REST APIs and TCP-based streams
• Collect metrics, analyze logs, benchmark performance, and implement optimizations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Expert-level experience with Erlang/Elixir development and deep OTP knowledge
• Proven experience developing distributed, server-side applications handling high loads
• Strong SQL database experience with optimization expertise for large datasets and latency reduction
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development using GitHub/GitLab
• Linux OS knowledge at an experienced user level
• Proactive approach to leveraging AI tools for productivity and workflow efficiency
• English communication at B1 level or above
• Strong integrity, loyalty, and collaborative mindset
