About This Role
As the Field Marketing Manager for Education & Public Sector at Lightcast (part of economicmodeling), you will play a pivotal role in driving market awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth across the United States and Canada. This remote position is designed for a strategic, hands-on marketer who excels at translating market priorities into measurable business outcomes and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact on Lightcast's growth strategy within two critical market segments: education institutions and public sector organizations. You will own the planning, execution, and optimization of targeted marketing programs and campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Campaign Development: Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns specifically tailored to the Education and Public Sector verticals across North America, leveraging multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Content Strategy & Creation: Translate complex market insights and product value propositions into compelling content, case studies, whitepapers, and marketing collateral that resonate with target audiences.
- Pipeline Growth: Work closely with the Sales team to develop lead generation initiatives, nurture programs, and account-based marketing strategies that drive qualified pipeline and accelerate deal velocity.
- Customer Engagement & Retention: Partner with Customer Success to design and execute customer advocacy programs, user events, and expansion campaigns that increase retention and lifetime value.
- Event Management: Plan, promote, and execute industry events, webinars, and customer engagement activities that build brand awareness and strengthen relationships within target markets.
- Analytics & Optimization: Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance using marketing metrics and KPIs. Provide regular reporting to leadership and iterate on strategy based on data-driven insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the bridge between Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on market priorities, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Market Intelligence: Stay current on education and public sector market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic marketing decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of field marketing, demand generation, or account-based marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Familiarity with the education sector, public sector markets, or government procurement processes is a strong plus.
- Self-motivated, collaborative team player who thrives in a distributed, remote work environment.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and comfort with marketing metrics and ROI measurement.
