Job Description
About Flux
Flux is revolutionizing hardware design by developing the first AI Hardware Engineer. Our mission is to democratize the ability to create bleeding-edge hardware and transform how electronics are designed and built globally. We're looking for a technical operator ready to own growth end-to-end and drive meaningful acquisition, activation, and retention metrics.
The Role
This is a rare opportunity to lead growth as a technical operator. You'll work closely with product, design, and marketing teams, but your primary focus will be building and shipping experiments that accelerate user acquisition, activation, and retention. You'll move fast—thinking in weeks, not months—hacking together scrappy tools and launching experiments that generate measurable lift quickly.
What You'll Do
- Build & ship growth experiments: Prototype and launch tools, landing pages, onboarding flows, and conversion experiments that drive results.
- Diagnose user friction: Use data, user research, and intuition to identify where technical users drop off and design solutions to keep them engaged.
- Optimize onboarding & activation: Rework first-touch experiences so users reach "aha" moments faster without relying on manual support.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with marketing on campaigns, product on user flows, and engineering on integrations or growth features.
- Quantify impact: Set up instrumentation, track experiment performance, and prioritize work based on data-driven insights and potential ROI.
- Stay scrappy: Use whatever tool, framework, or approach gets results fastest—from writing code to automating workflows to optimizing website architecture.
What You'll Bring
- Technical expertise: Strong coding skills, comfortable prototyping and integrating tools. Front-end or full-stack background preferred.
- Growth track record: Proven experience delivering growth experiments with measurable, quantifiable results.
- User empathy: Deep understanding of technical users (engineers, designers, etc.). Ability to understand their workflows and motivations.
- Data-driven mindset: Love for metrics, funnel analysis, and experimentation frameworks. Comfort with analytics and A/B testing.
- Entrepreneurial bias: Action-oriented, able to hustle, iterate quickly, and solve ambiguous problems independently.
- Communication skills: Clear articulation of both strategy and execution—ability to explain "what" and "why" to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Startup experience scaling from early revenue through product-market fit to growth stage.
- Exposure to developer tools, SaaS, or products serving technical users.
- Familiarity with SEO, website optimization, and analytics platforms.
