Role Description
The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. This role is critical to our supply chain operations and involves a comprehensive range of tasks from inventory management to packing and shipping orders. You'll be the backbone of our fulfillment operations, ensuring every collectible reaches our community members in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders and order specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damages before packaging to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Packaging: Securely package products using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit and maintain brand presentation.
- Inventory Management: Restock inventory, conduct inventory audits, and maintain accurate stock levels across warehouse systems.
- Shipping & Logistics: Label and ship packages, ensuring the correct carrier service is used and tracking information is properly recorded.
- Returns Processing: Handle returns professionally, inspect returned items for condition, and restock or process as appropriate.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, orders processed, and returns to ensure data integrity.
- Customer Service: Assist with customer inquiries related to shipping status, order tracking, and delivery concerns.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets and maintain operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with inventory management software and order processing systems.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately pick, pack, and process orders with minimal errors.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly; comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Communication: Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment centers, or inventory management.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software platforms.
- Familiarity with eCommerce fulfillment processes and best practices.
- Experience working in fast-paced, growth-stage environments.
- Knowledge of the collectibles or gaming industry is a plus.
