The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our network. This is a fully remote position, ideal for English-fluent professionals based in Mexico or Brazil. You will work on architecting, designing, and developing scalable applications and web services for web and mobile platforms while mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop scalable application and web services for web and mobile web platforms
• Translate complex functional requirements into clean, maintainable application-layer code and functional user interfaces
• Lead and participate in code reviews, enforcing high standards of code quality across the team
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers, helping grow the team's technical capability and expertise
• Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and stakeholders across teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Champion CI/CD practices, DevOps workflows, and test-driven development methodologies
• Drive prototyping and proof-of-concepts with new frameworks and emerging technologies
• Design systems that are highly available, horizontally scalable, and production-ready for enterprise environments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on coding in two or more languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Node.js, Python, .NET, PHP, or Ruby
• Strong hands-on expertise with Spring Framework (MVC, Security, Aspects), including JPA for data persistence, SQL/Oracle databases, and JSF or equivalent UI frameworks
• Proven front-end development skills with AngularJS and jQuery
• Demonstrated experience designing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code and automated deployment strategies
• Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) with a strong quality-first mindset
• Experience with Android and/or iOS native app UI development
• Ability to architect highly available systems with load balancing and horizontal scalability principles
• Strong communication and presentation skills with proven ability to work directly with customers, partners, and third-party developers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or equivalent professional experience
