About This Role
The Programmatic Media Manager is a tactical execution leader responsible for delivering strategic media activation excellence. You will strategically plan, activate, optimize, and manage programmatic media buys aligned with communication strategy, customer journey mapping, and audience insights. This role ensures effective media activation while balancing client business goals with performance optimization. You'll work closely with clients to develop comprehensive media activation plans and present campaign analysis and insights to address their strategic concerns.
Primary Focus Areas
- Strategic Media Activation: Make activation choices based on communication strategy and client business goals, effectively communicating the reasoning behind those choices. Utilize client and proprietary data and insights to enhance targeting and adjust investment and activation strategies based on performance. Embrace a test-and-learn approach, scaling new buying strategies that demonstrate measurable impact.
- Campaign Optimization & Performance Management: Monitor campaign performance across all programmatic channels, identifying optimization opportunities and implementing data-driven improvements. Track KPIs against established benchmarks and communicate performance insights to stakeholders with actionable recommendations.
- Client Collaboration & Strategic Partnership: Partner with clients to understand their evolving business objectives, market dynamics, and audience behavior. Develop and present strategic recommendations grounded in data analysis and industry best practices. Maintain transparent communication regarding campaign status, performance, and opportunities.
- Programmatic Buying Expertise: Execute media buys across programmatic channels including real-time bidding (RTB), private marketplaces (PMPs), and direct deals. Leverage first-party and third-party data to inform targeting strategies. Stay current with programmatic technology advancements and platform capabilities.

- Manage media budgets and optimize spending across multiple programmatic channels and platforms
- Conduct audience analysis and leverage data insights to refine targeting and improve campaign performance
- Create compelling campaign reports and presentations demonstrating ROI and strategic value
- Collaborate with data scientists, strategists, and creative teams to ensure integrated campaign delivery
- Test innovative buying strategies and scale successful approaches
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and strategic counsel
- Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities

Location & Work Arrangement
This is a fully remote position. We are only accepting candidates residing outside of the United States. Priority consideration will be given to candidates located in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.
