The Role
The Channel Manager – Social is responsible for delivering high-quality paid social activation across assigned clients. This role owns day-to-day execution, optimization, and performance management across social platforms, ensuring campaigns align to approved media plans, enterprise standards, and evolving channel best practices. Channel Managers operate as hands-on execution leaders and trusted client partners, translating strategy into precise social activation while working under the guidance of the Channel Director – Social.
Key Responsibilities
Social Execution & Performance Ownership
- Execute and optimize paid social campaigns across platforms and formats
- Own in-platform setup, including audiences, bidding, pacing, creative rotation, and measurement alignment
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs and media plan objectives
- Implement optimization strategies to improve ROAS, CTR, and conversion metrics
- Ensure compliance with platform policies and brand guidelines
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for social campaign updates and performance reporting
- Translate client briefs and strategic direction into actionable campaign execution
- Provide regular performance insights and recommendations for campaign improvements
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and analytics teams to refine campaigns
Team Development & Process Improvement
- Support the development and mentoring of Social Coordinators
- Contribute to process documentation and best practice standardization
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across social channels
- Stay current with platform updates, algorithm changes, and industry trends
What You Bring
- Proven experience managing paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and/or other major platforms
- Strong understanding of audience targeting, bidding strategies, and performance optimization
- Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Excellent client communication and project management skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
- Experience with media planning and performance marketing is a plus
