About the Role
Join Homebase as a Staff Product Manager, Growth and own the engine driving customer acquisition, activation, and revenue expansion. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the Staff (P5) level, designed for a seasoned product leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You'll manage a small team of 2-3 Product Managers while shaping the next generation of PM talent at Homebase.

Your Impact & Responsibilities
- Own the customer's first 60-day experience — define the product strategy and roadmap to accelerate onboarding, activation, and early engagement that drives lasting value.
- Drive freemium-to-paid conversions and upsell strategy — own all product aspects of converting free users to paying customers and expanding their investment.
- Deliver company-level growth impact — partner with Sales, Marketing, and GTM leadership to achieve new customer revenue goals and market expansion targets.
- Set the long-term vision for growth products — establish execution paths for onboarding, product-led growth (PLG), and AI-enabled experiences that simplify customer workflows.
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives — align executives, GTM partners, and Product/Design/Engineering teams around shared growth objectives.
- Manage and mentor a PM team — develop 2-3 product managers, coach their craft, and ensure alignment with Homebase's growth priorities.
- Drive data-driven continuous improvement — establish KPIs, run experiments, and use analytics to optimize conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Champion AI-first product development — serve as a thought leader in applying cutting-edge AI approaches to product development and customer-facing workflows.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of product management experience, including significant ownership of growth, onboarding, or customer lifecycle initiatives.
- Proven track record scaling customer acquisition and activation in B2B SaaS or similar growth-focused environments.
- Deep expertise in conversion funnel optimization — from awareness through activation, expansion, and retention.
- Experience designing and shipping AI-powered or AI-enabled products that meaningfully impact user workflows or business outcomes.
- Strong data fluency — comfortable designing experiments, interpreting results, and making decisions backed by analytics.
- Cross-functional leadership skills — ability to influence and align teams across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Design without direct authority.
- Coaching and mentorship mindset — demonstrated ability to develop product talent and foster a high-performing team culture.
- Strategic thinking combined with execution excellence — comfort setting vision while rolling up sleeves to ship customer-facing products and features.
