About Improbable
Improbable builds and scales ambitious AI and Web3 ventures shaping the next generation of the internet. We're hiring for a venture building a next-generation blockchain designed to overcome the speed and cost limitations of traditional blockchain infrastructure. The technology is fast, cost-efficient, and fully EVM-compatible, enabling developers, creators, and communities to build immersive products with greater ownership and interoperability.
About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to transform data into one of the most powerful decision-making tools within the business. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who is marketing-native, analytical, and excited by the pace and complexity of Web3. You'll work across a fast-moving ecosystem of builders, KOLs, protocols, and products, helping turn fragmented data into clear insight and actionable strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse on-chain data to track protocol activity, user journeys, and real-time performance trends
- Create dashboards and live performance reporting that give marketing, BD, and leadership teams a clear view of what matters
- Evaluate KOL, creator, and content performance, identifying which partnerships and campaigns drive meaningful user growth, retention, and volume
- Track builder journeys, from documentation and SDK engagement through to live deployment and usage
- Support business development with data-backed partner intelligence, shortlist creation, and market analysis
- Measure the impact of events, launches, and ecosystem activity on acquisition, engagement, and retention metrics
- Own regular reporting across key business and marketing metrics, including wallet activity, volume, and Total Value Locked (TVL)
- Monitor the competitive landscape and identify where the product and ecosystem have competitive advantages
Required Experience
- Strong experience in data analytics within Web3, ideally across DeFi or L1/L2 ecosystems
- Advanced SQL skills and confidence working with on-chain data, indexers, and subgraphs
- Strong dashboarding and visualisation skills using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Good commercial instincts and strong judgement on which metrics matter versus which are noise
- Familiarity with social intelligence, sentiment analysis, and tools such as Kaito
- Experience using Python or R for deeper analysis, forecasting, or modelling
- Good understanding of cryptocurrency, DeFi protocols, and blockchain ecosystems
- Proven ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
