Lead Product Manager, Web3 Prediction Markets

Your Mission

As a Lead Product Manager in Improbable's Web3 portfolio, you'll play a central role in defining, building, and scaling products across InfoFi (information finance) and DeFi (decentralised finance) ecosystems. This is a strategic leadership role where you'll translate ambitious business objectives into actionable product roadmaps, bridge technical and economic thinking, and deliver products that accelerate Improbable's vision of decentralised information and financial systems.

You'll work closely with engineering teams, research scientists, design leaders, and business stakeholders—balancing innovation velocity with disciplined execution—to shape products that drive value creation, liquidity, and meaningful network participation across the Web3 landscape. This role offers the opportunity to influence the direction of cutting-edge financial infrastructure at a pivotal moment in blockchain adoption.

Areas for Impact

• Product Strategy & Roadmapping: Define and evolve the roadmap for InfoFi and DeFi products, aligning technical capabilities with user needs, market opportunities, and Improbable's long-term ecosystem strategy. You'll prioritise features and initiatives that drive sustainable competitive advantage.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineers, economists, designers, and ecosystem partners to translate product vision into deliverable outcomes—bridging decentralised technologies with user-centric design principles and best practices.
• Market Insight & User Understanding: Develop deep expertise in the DeFi landscape, tokenomics models, and emerging InfoFi primitives. Monitor user behaviour, gather feedback, and translate insights into product iteration and prioritisation decisions.
• Execution & Delivery: Drive execution across multiple technical and cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent delivery against measurable objectives around adoption, engagement, liquidity, and protocol performance.
• Governance & Ecosystem Alignment: Contribute to decentralised governance processes, token design considerations, and incentive structures that ensure sustainable ecosystem growth and community participation.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior product team members; establish and champion high standards of product management excellence and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve product development pipelines, enhance data-driven decision-making capabilities, and establish robust user experience measurement across the product portfolio.

About You

We're looking for an experienced product leader with a genuine passion for Web3 technologies and decentralised systems. You should bring:

• Web3 Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, and decentralised finance mechanisms. You can discuss consensus models, layer-2 solutions, and protocol design with confidence.
• Technical Literacy: Deep technical literacy enabling effective communication with software engineers, smart contract developers, and data science teams. You're comfortable reviewing code, understanding architecture constraints, and discussing technical tradeoffs.
• Product Demonstration Skills: Ability to deliver compelling, developer-focused product demos that clearly articulate technical value propositions and use cases.
• Tokenomics & Incentive Design: Thorough understanding of token economies, governance frameworks, and the critical interplay between user incentives, protocol health, and ecosystem sustainability.
• Strategic Product Definition: Proven track record defining and delivering product strategy from conception through market launch. You excel at breaking down complex problems and creating clear execution paths.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfortable establishing KPIs, interpreting analytics, and using data to validate hypotheses and guide product evolution.
• Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Experience working effectively with global, distributed teams across multiple time zones. Strong communication skills and an ability to build consensus across diverse perspectives.
