The Role

We're seeking a senior-level AI Solutions Engineer to join our growing team in a fully remote position based in Colombia. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced engineer passionate about bridging cutting-edge artificial intelligence with real-world business impact.

As an AI Solutions Engineer at Livefront, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing intelligent systems that transform how our clients operate. You'll work across the full spectrum of AI technologies—from Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures to machine learning pipelines—translating complex emerging capabilities into practical, production-ready solutions.

Navigating both architectural design and hands-on implementation comes naturally to you, and you quickly master unfamiliar technologies when needed. You articulate complex technical requirements clearly to internal stakeholders and engage confidently in strategic discussions with client partners.

Your engineering principles are mature yet adaptable—shaped by continuous learning, cross-functional collaboration, and deep awareness of the evolving AI landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Client Strategy & Discovery: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives around AI implementation. Present sustainable, achievable technical solutions and refine strategies based on stakeholder feedback and real-world constraints.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor engineering teams—both within Livefront and at client organizations—by establishing technical standards, conducting rigorous code reviews, and contributing to product vision and roadmap planning.
• Technology Exploration: Engage in technical spikes to evaluate emerging AI technologies, methodologies, and frameworks. Stay ahead of industry developments and recommend innovations that benefit our clients.
• Architecture & Design: Lead the design of robust, scalable architectures tailored to specific client needs. Implement these solutions hands-on, ensuring systems are maintainable, performant, and aligned with business requirements.
• Infrastructure & Integration: Design, develop, and integrate APIs, data pipelines, and end-to-end infrastructure enabling seamless system communication. Optimize performance to ensure AI models are useful, scalable, and maintainable in production environments.
• Versatility Across Domains: Adapt your skills across diverse projects—from API design and real-time technical support to DevOps and DevSecOps practices—demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to varied client needs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly across backend teams, frontend teams, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders, streamlining communication and ensuring aligned technical decisions.

What You'll Need

• Deep, demonstrable experience with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and machine learning frameworks
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, production-grade AI systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (API design, data pipelines, system architecture)
• Experience with modern DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills—both technical and strategic
• Track record of mentoring and leading engineering teams
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams
• Passion for ethical AI and thoughtful technology design
