The Opportunity

We've seen firsthand how powerful in-person community connection can be. From our flagship Meetabase event in Argentina to customer-hosted events in Madrid and casual bar meetups organized when team members travel through Europe, community engagement drives real relationships and business value.

We're hiring a Global Community Events Manager to scale and grow this movement. You'll transform ideas like "we should do something in Berlin" into real, thriving events that bring dozens of people together. This is a hands-on role where you'll own the entire event lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Identify and prioritize new cities for Metabase community events based on user concentration and market opportunity
• Scout and book venues that reflect our brand values and accommodate 20-100+ attendees
• Manage all logistical details: catering, beverage selection, swag design and procurement, shipping, and on-site coordination
• Build event timelines and budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising experience
• Coordinate with Success Engineers and product teams to ensure events deliver real customer value
• Track event metrics, gather attendee feedback, and continuously improve the community event program
• Handle vendor relationships, contracts, and payment processing across multiple countries and currencies
• Promote events through email, social media, and community channels to drive attendance
