Key Responsibilities
Lead requirements discovery and analysis efforts for insurance and e-commerce initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
Partner with business, product, compliance, and IT teams to translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and detailed process flows.
Analyze insurance operations including policy lifecycle management, enrollment processes, billing systems, claims handling, and regulatory requirements to identify optimization opportunities.
Support e-commerce capabilities such as online quoting, enrollment workflows, payment processing, customer self-service portals, and digital integrations.
Document current-state and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, scalability, and enhanced customer experience.
Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and solution reviews while supporting UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are clearly communicated, technically feasible, and aligned with business goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrated senior-level responsibility and leadership in requirements gathering and analysis.
Strong insurance industry experience (health, life, property & casualty, or specialty insurance) with deep understanding of policy management, claims, and compliance frameworks.
Hands-on experience supporting e-commerce platforms and digital customer journeys, including online sales processes and omnichannel integrations.
Demonstrated experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments with familiarity of Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills with ability to distill complex business requirements into actionable specifications.
