About the Role
We are seeking a talented Brand Designer who will own and elevate OpenSesame's visual identity across all channels. In this role, you will help the marketing team translate strategy into compelling creative that drives engagement, generates pipeline, and strengthens brand perception in the competitive workforce development market.
You will operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on creator—shaping how OpenSesame shows up in the world and ensuring consistency, quality, and performance across all brand touchpoints. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the visual brand strategy across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints
- Create compelling campaign creative that drives measurable engagement and pipeline growth
- Design and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines and visual style guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product, and communications
- Manage design asset production, quality control, and brand consistency
- Establish scalable processes for creative production and asset management
- Audit existing campaigns and brand materials to identify gaps and optimization opportunities
- Lead multi-channel campaign design efforts focused on marketing qualified lead generation
Performance Objectives: 30-Day Milestones
- Complete comprehensive onboarding for key design tools, systems, and marketing workflows
- Develop a strong understanding of OpenSesame's target audience, current brand positioning, and marketing objectives
- Conduct a thorough audit of existing campaigns, assets, and brand materials to identify gaps and quick wins
- Establish effective working relationships with marketing, communications, and cross-functional partners
Performance Objectives: 60-Day Milestones
- Develop a clear and compelling vision for OpenSesame's visual brand across campaigns and channels
- Begin evolving campaign creative to improve engagement metrics and overall performance
- Ensure alignment between design output and marketing pipeline goals
- Deliver measurable improvements in at least one area of campaign performance or brand consistency
Performance Objectives: 90-Day Milestones
- Develop and implement a comprehensive visual style guide and refined brand guidelines
- Lead design efforts for multi-channel campaigns that drive marketing qualified leads
- Establish scalable, repeatable processes for creative production and asset management
- Identify and implement at least two process improvements or efficiencies within the design function
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate brings a combination of strategic thinking and strong execution skills. You should have a proven track record in brand design, visual communication, and campaign creation. Experience in B2B marketing, SaaS, or enterprise software is a plus. You must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering work that balances creative excellence with business impact.
Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design excellence, brand consistency, and campaign work is essential. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent platforms is required. Experience with design systems, brand guidelines development, and working in cross-functional teams is highly valued.
