About Roadie

Roadie, a UPS company, is a leading logistics and delivery platform revolutionizing modern retail with unmatched delivery coverage, flexibility, and visibility. The company reaches 97% of U.S. households across more than 30,000 zip codes—from urban centers to rural communities—providing seamless, scalable delivery solutions. With a network of more than 310,000 independent drivers nationwide, Roadie delivers innovative solutions including local same-day delivery, big and bulky item logistics, ship-from-store capabilities, and DC-to-door services. Founded in 2014, Roadie has become one of the largest crowdsourced delivery networks in the country, enabling businesses across industries—from airlines to artisans—to offer flexible delivery options to their customers.

The Role

As a Product Owner, you will lead the evolution of Roadie's internal billing and sender payment platforms—critical systems at the intersection of finance, technology, and operations. You'll own the complete product lifecycle for these mission-critical platforms, partnering closely with Engineering, Finance, Data Science, Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders. This is an opportunity to drive strategic impact on systems that directly support Roadie's continued growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and execution: Drive the roadmap and backlog for billing and sender payment platforms, balancing business priorities, technical requirements, and long-term product vision
  • Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Data Science, Operations, and Engineering teams to design and deliver scalable billing and payment solutions
  • Requirements translation: Convert complex business needs into clear product requirements, detailed user stories, and prioritized work streams for engineering teams
  • Data-driven decisions: Analyze metrics, identify opportunities for optimization, and measure the impact of new features and improvements on business outcomes
  • Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, including UPS integration partners and payment vendors
  • Monitoring and instrumentation: Develop comprehensive reporting and monitoring systems to ensure billing accuracy, maintain platform health, and track operational performance
  • Process improvement: Continuously refine internal workflows to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance the experience for internal Roadie teams

What You Bring

  • Product management experience: 3+ years in product management, product ownership, business systems, or equivalent roles
  • Domain expertise: Proven experience working with billing, payments, invoicing, finance systems, or other operational/backend platforms
  • Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with demonstrated success using data to inform strategic and tactical decisions
  • Technical fluency: Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical constraints, scalability considerations, and system architecture
  • Communication skills: Excellent ability to translate between technical and business contexts, presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Stakeholder influence: Proven ability to influence and collaborate across organizations without direct authority
  • Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and precision, especially important in payments and billing contexts

Why Join Roadie

You'll be working at a UPS-backed company that's transforming logistics at scale. This role offers the opportunity to impact products used across a network of hundreds of thousands of drivers and thousands of business customers. You'll work with modern technology stacks, collaborate with talented teams, and contribute to systems that power a critical part of Roadie's operations. The remote-first environment provides flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration and company culture.
