As a Staff Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital commerce and transaction platform for our vehicle sales experience, with a specific focus on integrating third-party financial services into the end-to-end customer journey.

Scout Motors is more than just a brand—it's a legacy steeped in a culture of exploration, caretaking, and hard work. The Scout brand carries forward heritage dating back to 1960, forging the path for future generations of rugged vehicles. Today, we're electrifying and digitizing this iconic American vehicle while loading it with innovation. We respect the past and future by creating a company that stands for its people and customers, developing two powertrains: an all-electric powertrain and the Harvester™ range extender with an estimated 500 miles of combined range.

Role Overview

This is a highly strategic and technical individual contributor role that owns the product strategy and execution for digital financing, payments, and transaction orchestration. You will ensure a seamless, compliant, and conversion-optimized experience while operating at the intersection of product, engineering, finance, legal, and external partners to deliver scalable, secure, and customer-centric financial capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Customer Flows: Define how customer-facing flows and internal tooling work together to support assisted checkout, financing support, and exception handling
  • Drive Business Impact: Translate business goals (conversion, revenue, compliance) into product requirements and technical specifications
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate across product, engineering, finance, legal, and external partners to execute on roadmap
  • Technical Acumen: Navigate complex financial integrations, payment systems, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Influence & Decision-Making: Operate with comfort navigating ambiguity and making high-impact decisions that directly affect revenue and customer experiences
