About the Infrastructure Team

The Infrastructure team is responsible for making it seamless for researchers and engineers to access and use the infrastructure they need. The team ensures the underlying infrastructure for public services is robust, reliable, and scalable. Members of the Infrastructure team are uniquely positioned to impact all areas of H, from building foundational models and agents to public-facing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage infrastructure to support research efforts in model and agent development, including training infrastructure, data pipelines, and inference systems
  • Support product engineering efforts on H Company's agent platform, including client-facing APIs and agent runtimes across multiple deployment scenarios (multi-tenant and on-premises)
  • Setup and maintain observability and monitoring strategies to ensure system health and performance visibility
  • Mentor and grow other engineers in infrastructure-related topics and general engineering best practices

Must-Have Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CDK, Terraform, or similar
  • Proven experience architecting and deploying distributed systems on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong expertise in observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
  • Strong knowledge of a modern programming language, ideally Python or JavaScript/TypeScript

Nice-to-Have Requirements

  • MLOps or Data Engineering relevant experience
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • CICD management experience with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or TeamCity

Location & Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role based in Paris or London. You are expected to be in the office an average of 3 days per week.
