As a Senior IT Project Manager specializing in enterprise platforms and supply chain systems, you will be responsible for overseeing large-scale digital transformation projects that directly impact pharmaceutical operations. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of pharma supply chain management, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and compliance-heavy IT implementations.

This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with global teams, stakeholders, and technical experts. You'll manage projects from inception through successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and quality standards specific to the pharmaceutical sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for enterprise platform implementations and supply chain optimization initiatives
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
• Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple departments including operations, IT, compliance, and supply chain teams
• Monitor project health, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations (FDA, GMP, GDP) throughout project lifecycle
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, quality assurance, and subject matter experts
• Track project performance against KPIs and deliver regular status reports to executive leadership
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost control while maintaining quality standards
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years managing enterprise platform or supply chain projects
• Proven track record managing large-scale projects in the pharmaceutical or heavily regulated industries
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, SCM, WMS) and their implementation complexities
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification required
• Expertise in supply chain management principles and enterprise technology solutions
• Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in matrix organizational structures
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise resource planning systems
• Knowledge of supply chain visibility and traceability technologies
• Background in pharmaceutical supply chain (manufacturing, distribution, logistics)
• Experience with quality management systems and documentation
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and serialization requirements
• Six Sigma or lean management certification
