FusionConsulting is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead enterprise platform and supply chain technology initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will oversee complex enterprise projects spanning platform modernization, supply chain optimization, and regulatory compliance. You'll work with cross-functional teams, including C-suite executives, technical architects, compliance officers, and external vendors, to deliver solutions that directly impact pharmaceutical operations globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale IT projects involving enterprise platforms, supply chain systems, and integrated business solutions
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with senior leadership, IT teams, operations, and external partners to align project objectives with business strategy and regulatory requirements
• Supply Chain Technology: Oversee implementation and optimization of supply chain management systems, inventory platforms, logistics software, and procurement solutions
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet pharmaceutical industry standards including FDA compliance, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and data security protocols
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; develop contingency plans and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Budget & Resource Planning: Manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure optimal ROI on technology investments
• Timeline & Quality Control: Develop realistic project schedules, track progress against milestones, and maintain quality standards throughout delivery phases
• Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure smooth transitions during system implementations
• Vendor & Contract Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project management experience, with minimum 3 years managing enterprise-scale projects in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or heavily regulated industries
• Proven expertise managing supply chain, ERP, or enterprise platform implementations
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks (FDA, GDP, HIPAA, data privacy compliance)
• Advanced proficiency with project management methodologies: Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
• Experience with project management tools and enterprise software (Jira, Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated leadership of geographically distributed teams and cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Knowledge of supply chain platforms (SAP Integrated Business Planning, JDA, Kinaxis, or similar)
• Background in digital transformation or cloud migration projects
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and data governance requirements in pharma
• Previous experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing or distribution operations
