Senior Recruiter - Technical & Engineering

About the Role

Cielo2 is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter specializing in Technical and Engineering talent acquisition to join our growing remote team. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic recruitment professional who excels at identifying, attracting, and placing top-tier technical talent across engineering disciplines.

As a Senior Recruiter, you will take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, partnering with hiring managers to understand their most complex staffing needs and delivering candidates who exceed expectations. This role offers the autonomy to build recruiting strategies, mentor junior team members, and directly impact the company's ability to scale its engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit senior-level engineering and technical talent across multiple specializations
• Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of pre-qualified engineering candidates
• Conduct technical interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate fit and technical competency
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and hiring managers to define role requirements and success criteria
• Manage the entire candidate experience from initial outreach through offer negotiation and onboarding
• Utilize ATS systems and recruitment tools to track metrics and optimize hiring funnels
• Mentor and support junior recruiters, sharing best practices in technical talent acquisition
• Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive compensation benchmarking
• Contribute to improving recruitment processes and building a strong employer brand within the tech community

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on technical or engineering roles
• Proven track record of successfully placing senior-level technical talent (software engineers, DevOps, infrastructure, full-stack developers, etc.)
• Deep understanding of engineering roles, tech stacks, and the technical hiring landscape
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into compelling candidate briefs
• Strong network within the engineering and tech communities (both passive and active candidates)
• Experience with modern recruiting tools, ATS platforms, and candidate management systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously
• Passion for finding talent and delivering exceptional results under deadline pressure
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop long-term recruitment strategies, not just fill immediate openings
