About the Role

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the Integrations team for Veza, our identity and access management platform. This is a high-impact technical leadership position where you'll architect scalable integration solutions, mentor engineering talent, and drive strategic technical decisions that shape our platform's ecosystem.

As Tech Lead for Integrations at Veza, you will own the technical vision for how our platform connects with enterprise systems, APIs, and third-party services. This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural leadership, requiring someone who can drive innovation while maintaining code quality and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of integration architecture supporting enterprise-scale deployments
• Mentor and develop senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation
• Drive technical decisions on API design, data synchronization, and third-party integrations
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to define integration roadmaps and technical requirements
• Review complex technical designs and code to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability
• Establish best practices for integration testing, monitoring, and incident response
• Contribute to architectural decisions that impact the broader Veza platform
• Champion technical standards and engineering excellence across the team

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant focus on integrations or API development
• Proven experience leading technical teams or serving as a tech lead
• Deep expertise in designing scalable, maintainable integration solutions
• Strong background in API design, REST/GraphQL, and asynchronous messaging patterns
• Experience with enterprise software systems and complex integrations
• Track record of mentoring and developing senior engineers
• Excellent communication skills for working across product, infrastructure, and security teams
