About the Role

As Senior Director, Area Vertical Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a cross-functional team focused on delivering exceptional customer engagement solutions within your assigned vertical market
  • Developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand customer value and market presence
  • Building and scaling high-performing teams across sales, customer success, and support functions
  • Driving revenue growth and customer retention metrics within your area
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, and executive leadership to align customer needs with ServiceNow's strategic roadmap
  • Establishing thought leadership and deep expertise in your vertical's unique challenges and opportunities
  • Managing P&L responsibility for your vertical segment
  • Creating and implementing customer engagement strategies that drive satisfaction and loyalty

What We're Looking For

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in customer engagement, account management, or customer success functions
  • Proven track record building and scaling teams in a B2B enterprise software environment
  • Strong P&L management experience and business acumen
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into executable plans
  • Deep understanding of customer lifecycle management and engagement best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
  • Experience in a vertical-focused or segment-focused business model
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
