ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Senior Director to lead our Customer Engagement Group as an Area Vertical Lead. About the Role
As Senior Director, Area Vertical Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a cross-functional team focused on delivering exceptional customer engagement solutions within your assigned vertical market
- Developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand customer value and market presence
- Building and scaling high-performing teams across sales, customer success, and support functions
- Driving revenue growth and customer retention metrics within your area
- Collaborating with product, engineering, and executive leadership to align customer needs with ServiceNow's strategic roadmap
- Establishing thought leadership and deep expertise in your vertical's unique challenges and opportunities
- Managing P&L responsibility for your vertical segment
- Creating and implementing customer engagement strategies that drive satisfaction and loyalty
What We're Looking For
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in customer engagement, account management, or customer success functions
- Proven track record building and scaling teams in a B2B enterprise software environment
- Strong P&L management experience and business acumen
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into executable plans
- Deep understanding of customer lifecycle management and engagement best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
- Experience in a vertical-focused or segment-focused business model
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
