About the Role
ServiceNow is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Lifecycle Management (LCM) for the Veza platform. This is a critical position for engineers who want to architect, design, and optimize complex system environments at enterprise scale. As a Senior Systems Engineer focused on LCM, you will be responsible for designing and implementing lifecycle management strategies that ensure seamless integration, deployment, and maintenance of Veza systems across diverse enterprise environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect Lifecycle Management solutions for Veza platform implementations
- Lead system design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering and implementation teams
- Develop best practices and standard operating procedures for LCM processes
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to identify and resolve complex technical challenges
- Evaluate and recommend infrastructure improvements, tools, and technologies
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues with minimal downtime
- Document architectural decisions and technical specifications for future reference
- Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends, security best practices, and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles
- Demonstrated expertise in lifecycle management practices and methodologies
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts and implementations
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or on-premises infrastructure
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and DevOps practices
- Advanced knowledge of system architecture, scalability, and high-availability design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow platform or similar enterprise software solutions
- Knowledge of identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions
- Certification in cloud platforms or systems engineering (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Background in security operations or compliance-driven environments
- Familiarity with API-driven architectures and microservices
