Executive Project Manager

About the Role

Social Discovery Ventures is seeking an experienced Executive Project Manager to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This is a strategic leadership position designed for a seasoned professional who can drive complex projects to successful completion while managing cross-functional teams across global locations.

As Executive Project Manager, you will oversee high-impact initiatives from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing project frameworks, optimizing workflows, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity and scope
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with business strategy
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively
• Maintain detailed documentation and provide regular status updates to senior leadership
• Establish and optimize project management processes and best practices
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and executive leadership
• Track project KPIs and deliver insights for continuous improvement
• Manage resource allocation and ensure efficient utilization across initiatives
• Resolve roadblocks and escalate issues appropriately when necessary

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional project management experience in a leadership capacity
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with budgets exceeding $1M+
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all organizational levels
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools and platforms
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams remotely
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred
• Experience in tech, software development, or digital ventures is a plus
