About This Role

Social Discovery Ventures is seeking an experienced Executive Search Partner to join our team on a fully remote basis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned recruitment professional to work at the intersection of venture capital, technology, and executive talent acquisition. You will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and placing top-tier executive talent for portfolio companies and strategic partners across our global network.

As an Executive Search Partner, you will leverage your extensive network, industry expertise, and recruitment acumen to source and place C-suite executives, including CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and other senior leadership positions. This role combines the sophistication of traditional executive search with the agility and innovation that defines the venture ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle executive recruitment for portfolio companies, managing search processes from initial briefing through final placement
• Develop and execute tailored search strategies for specialized C-suite and senior management roles across diverse industries and geographies
• Build and maintain a robust network of high-caliber executive candidates through proactive sourcing, industry events, and strategic relationship development
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks to ensure cultural and strategic fit
• Manage client relationships with portfolio companies, providing strategic counsel on talent acquisition and market insights
• Prepare executive summaries, market research reports, and candidate profiles that demonstrate deep industry knowledge
• Negotiate terms, manage offer processes, and facilitate successful placements
• Stay current with industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent market dynamics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine search criteria and expand opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of executive search, recruitment, or talent acquisition experience, with proven success placing C-suite executives
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting retained or contingency search mandates
• Strong understanding of venture capital, startup ecosystems, and scale-up environments
• Exceptional networking and relationship-building capabilities with established contacts in target industries
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent search assignments
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
• Strong analytical and research capabilities to identify market trends and candidate pools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with venture-backed companies or within the VC ecosystem
• Background in technology, fintech, healthcare, or other high-growth sectors
• Knowledge of international talent markets and cross-border placements
• Familiarity with executive assessment methodologies
• Track record of building and scaling recruitment operations
