About the Role
As a Staff Fullstack Engineer at Socure, you will join a high-performing engineering team responsible for building scalable, high-performance applications across both frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, Data Science, and DevOps teams to deliver impactful solutions for our customers. In this role, you'll leverage diverse technologies to design, develop, and implement user-friendly interfaces and robust backend services within a cloud-native architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver major product features covering both frontend and backend technical stacks
- Build responsive and accessible user interfaces integrated with scalable, secure backend services
- Participate in architectural decisions for scalable and modular systems
- Write high-quality, clean code; perform code reviews; and ensure testing and documentation standards
- Optimize application performance, ensuring fast, reliable, and secure operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Mobile, and Data Science teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and engineering excellence
- Stay up to date on technology trends, and advocate for the adoption of new tools and processes to improve team productivity and system performance
Required Qualifications
- Education: BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Experience: 8+ years of experience building complex web applications as a full stack engineer
- Deep knowledge of modern frontend technologies and frameworks
- Proficiency in backend development with cloud-native architecture expertise
- Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience with secure, high-performance application development
- Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence
