About This Role

Inetum2 is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Slalom Digital Transformation Engineering (DTE) team in a fully remote capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced developers who are passionate about building scalable, innovative software solutions and working with a globally distributed team.

As a Software Engineer at Inetum2, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that drive digital transformation initiatives for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver robust solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning activities
  • Work independently and take ownership of assigned projects while supporting team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role with demonstrated portfolio or contributions
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, principles, and architectural concepts
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
  • Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
  • Experience with testing methodologies and frameworks (unit testing, integration testing)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns
  • Agile/Scrum certification or proven experience in agile environments
  • Open source project contributions
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives
