About the Role
SoftwareMind is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions for enterprise clients. This is a remote position ideal for technology leaders who are passionate about translating complex business challenges into scalable AI-powered systems.
As an AI Solutions Architect, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working with cross-functional teams to architect solutions that leverage machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI technologies. You'll collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives while maintaining technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise-grade AI solutions from concept through production deployment
- Evaluate emerging AI/ML frameworks, tools, and platforms to recommend optimal technology stacks
- Lead technical discussions with clients to understand requirements and translate them into actionable architecture
- Mentor and guide engineering teams in implementing AI solutions following best practices
- Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate AI approaches before full-scale implementation
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and cost-effective
- Stay current with AI/ML industry trends, research, and advancements
- Document architectural decisions, design patterns, and technical specifications
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software architecture or senior engineering experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML projects in production environments
- Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional programming language
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Cloud AI)
- Solid understanding of data engineering, data pipelines, and ETL processes
- Knowledge of neural networks, NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with generative AI and large language models (LLMs)
- Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring in production
- Background in distributed systems and handling large-scale data
- Certifications in AI/ML or cloud platforms
